Not to wear alone November 8, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had hoped to wear this shirt alone in the summer as a tank top, but I never did because the shoulder straps are really just bra straps. I thought they didn't look good alone. Nevertheless, I did wear it under other things once the weather cooled down.
On the recommendation of others on this site, I bought one size up from my usual. Bad idea. The shirt is now too bulky under other shirts, but had I bought my size, I don't think this would be a problem.
The clasps to open the bra opening are pretty easy, once you get used to them.. which takes a day or two. Not more.
BTW, I use this shirt to essentially turn any of my normal shirts into nursing shirts. I think it's actually a better buy than a real nursing shirt (which I also own, but use less often then this one in combination with another shirt).
Works well; a couple issues November 6, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Overall, this works great, though I rarely wear it...it's just not supportive enough for me to wear on a regular basis. It's easy to operate, and is modest while nursing, but there's not separation for the chest, so one ends up with that "uniboob" effect. :/ Also, there's no padding at all, so I'm either wearing pads with this or "showing."
Ok September 16, 2008 it's very nice when breast feeding. i'm even wearing it after i don't breast feed anymore. the only thing i don't like about it is it doesn't hold your stomach tight. so i don't wear it when i go out in public.
practical August 13, 2008 this is much preferable to wearing a bra and a shirt. the only problem is that it fits like a sports bra and that can get sweaty from making a 'uniboob'. i was also expecting a little more room from the extra large size (i'm a 40D), so beware if you even suspect you might want more room. it does offer great support though, so i would purchase it in the same size again.
Great! June 4, 2008 As I'm quickly growing out of clothes and the temperature is getting hotter I tried this on (even though I'd planned on wearing after my baby got here). I was THRILLED that it came down long enough and covered up my large stomach. I baught two and wear them all the time. They're great even if you're still pregnant and not nursing yet!
